I am planning a 7 - 14 day section hike this summer either on the New England portion of the AT or on the Long Trail anyone have any experience with either?

If you've kept up with my recent blog postings of my SNP complaint you should know that:
I just had a telephone conversation with the Deputy Superintendent. I am much more happier about the situation now. They understand the real issues of the matter, but can not detail them due to privacy concerns. I can only say that the officer will now understand what it really means to "do the right thing."
It's so important to speak up; I'm glad I did. Thanks for reading…
